Bernice Grundy

Bernice began painting in 1988 after teaching science for 18 years.  She was introduced to watercolour painting initially by Clare Hackney and then began using other media after attending a variety of Adult Education classes and workshops.  Colour and the effects of light on subjects such as flowers and landscape continue to attract her attention.

In 1991 she became an exhibiting member of Farnham Art Society and has exhibited with them at the James Hockey Gallery at UCA and at the Farnham Maltings.  She also exhibits with the Guildford Art Society.  Her work was used recently to publicize a Flower Festival in the village where she lives and she also designed the flyer used for this.
