I am inspired by the built environment and attempt to reflect in a loose way its character and vibrancy, using lots of ink, a little watercolour, and absolutely no pencils or rulers. I also love telephone wires and lampposts.
I enjoy urban sketching outdoors, when weather and finances permit, and have recently set up a local sketching group on Instagram
